Uganda Edition

My internship with the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology through the World Food Prize has brought me to Mbita, Kenya this summer. However, I spent a week in Uganda and couldn’t miss the chance to reflect on my unique experiences while visiting a country that quite simply stole my heart. In Uganda, I surveyed thirty-eight farmers and ran an exciting and fast-paced focus group. I also met farmers that touched my heart and came face-to-face with a culture that changed my perspective on women in agriculture forever.
